This cover should have been transited through the International Brigades exterior mail via Paris, with Rue Bleue postmark or meter, as it was addressed to Holland, which was considered a pro fascist country. The postal services via Paris started working on early April 1937 (see Ernst Heller, La historia y el servicio postal de las Brigadas Internacionales, pages 185-192).
