Post card franked with 25c Edifil 749 and unreadable postmark, sent to Mariano Ballester Navarro, in "C. de T. de San Miguel" in Orihuela, this is Campo de Trabajo (labor camp) in Orihuela, which was in San Miguel seminar in that city. Text on the back dated on the last days of the war, on March 21, 1939.

Barcelona censor mark Heller RB3.17 on the front and the back, and also Habana transit mark on the back dated on August 31, 1938 and Camagüey arrival postmark of September 1, 1938.

Cover from Saint Etienne, France, to Bilbao, with was Nationalist zone, but missent to the Republican zone and there censored with Valencia mark Heller RV2.4 and returned to the sender with mark "Retour a / l'envoyeur". Very interesting example of disruption of the postal services due to the war.
Cover to Birmandreis, Algeria, with Barcelona censor mark Heller RB3.12a and Red Cross political label GG1642 on the back tied by Birmandreis arrival postmark. With content.
What makes this lot exceptionall are the dried plants inside, picked up at the Front and preserved in the covers since 1937.

International Brigades censor mark Heller 5b on field post card with stamp cancelled by handwritten lines and sender from the 140 Brigada Mixta, 44 Division. By the end of the war and after the International Brigades were dissolved, their censor marks were still used by the Republican Army in Catalonia, between December 1938 and January 1939.
