It is not clear if the sender was a guard or a prisoner of the camp, as the card is circulated without stamp. Most probably a prisoner's mail would not have been admitted...

This was a prison under the DEDIDE administration (Departamento Especial de Información del Estado), later, in 1938, absorbed by the SIM (Servicio de Información Militar). The DEDIDE fought against enemy espionage and sabotage in the Republican zone.
